Looking for Cooks!

Looking for Full Time work on a great team?

We may have something for you.  SABC is looking for key people who are looking for a job that is making a huge difference in the lives of children and young people.  There are some things that must be considered before submitting an application:  First, there is a dress code.  Ties are not permitted ever (scarves optional for staff meetings) and jeans are the preferred style (shorts in summer).  Smiles must be natural (not fake smiles – these would kill the vibe around the office.)  Our team is made up of rule breakers and rule keepers (ie. we are not all the same) and you’re going to have to be ok with that.  We are better together than we are alone, and we’ve got some incredible work to accomplish over the next year.  Our vision is to see lives transformed!  This is no small task.

For immediate hire:

Assistant Cook – can follow instructions, understands basic things like the difference between a freezer and a fridge, loves to have fun, is somewhat of a foodie…

Can only work part time?

Casual Cook  – willing to work a weekend or two per month during the year (a room would be provided to stay overnight).  Would require cooking experience, enjoy working on a talented team, and a willingness to learn.

More information about timelines, application process, and job descriptions can be found here.
Please fill in our online application at sabc.ca and then send in your resume with a cover letter to Jon Gartly at jon@sabc.ca or PO Box 99, Lomond, AB   T0L1G0.
