Waterfront + Lifeguards

This incredible team takes care of everything water related and makes sure everyone is safe. Whether you are fitting life jackets, spotting on a boat or guarding the beach, you are making a massive impact. Position (2-8 Weeks)

Waterfront Coordinator(FP)

The Waterfront Coordinator will work in partnership with the Program Director and volunteer boat drivers in carrying out summer program with a special focus on waterfront programming. They will responsible for the leadership and discipleship of the Sr. and Jr. Lifeguard members of the Program Crew as well as the care and upkeep of the waterfront. Current First Aid and National Lifeguard Certification are Required. This person will also be part of our Program Coordinator team whom will be our lead hosts for programming and care of our guest groups in the spring. This is a 16 week position.

Sr. Lifeguards(Program Crew)(V)(FP)

Dive In! Working alongside the Waterfront Coordinator and Program Director, lifeguards will help create and keep a clean, organized and safe waterfront environment. Current First Aid and National Lifeguard Certification are Required. (2-8 week positions available - in order to qualify for a paid/fundraised position you must 16 , have your NL and be able to work 4 or more weeks)

Jr. Lifeguards(Program Crew)

Make a Splash! Assisting the Waterfront Coordinator and Senior Guards, Jr. Lifeguards will help create and keep a clean, organized and safe waterfront environment. They may also help prepare and run all the games, activities and other programming at camp, at the waterfront and elsewhere when the beach is not open. Bronze Cross/Medallion required.

Fort Lifeguard/Program Assistant Coordinator(FP)


The Fort Lifeguard/Program Assistant will function as the waterfront coordinator for the Fort as well as assist the Fort Program Coordinator and Fort Directors in running the program at the Fortside of SABC - assisting in games, activities, running meals and camper fun. Current First Aid and National Lifeguard Certification are Required. This is a 10 week position.
